Jerry and I are feeling the changing of the season, which always seems to sneak up on us. Summer doesn’t last as long as we’d like, not in our part of Oregon anyway.
This year Jerry won’t be bowhunting due to a shoulder injury, but he still feels the pull to wander the hills. His hunting buddy went solo last week, but was able to text Jerry about a nice elk that got away. So for now the Jerry Davis Knife in his pack is clean.
The good news is Jerry’s spending more time with family, making knives, and reconfiguring his shop. We’re thankful his shoulder is improving. And we’re certainly looking forward to next year when we can head for the hills again.
